WHAT  CLASSES ARE BEGINNER FRIENDLY?

All classes are all-level, and we do our best to make everyone feel welcome and safe in every class. A good introduction class is our signature class, Crush Hush, which gives you a little dose of both fitness and yoga (come on a Friday for a beer and the best community vibes too). 

 

WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO CLASS?

You're likely to work up a sweat in class, so to allow yourself to move freely, we’d recommend loose and comfortable clothing. For the weak ender, ugly sweaters, strut dance, and no run club bring a pair of runners. We have jars for water, yoga mats, props, and all the equipment you would need. 

 

SHOULD I EAT OR DRINK BEFORE CLASS?

We recommend not eating anything too substantial in the two hours before class (#cramps). Come well hydrated.

 

SHOULD I BRING MY OWN MAT?

We provide free of charge, lululemon mats in the studio. These are cleaned after every class, but do see a lot of action, so feel free to bring your own.

 

WHAT’S YOUR 2 WEEK INTRO OFFER ABOUT?

We offer 2 weeks of all you can burpee-yoga-dance-lunge for $49. This is a great way to trial the studio, see how the classes work with your schedule and generally fall in love with us. You can come to any class, anytime, and fill your cup for two solid weeks. 

 

DO YOU OFFER STUDENT DISCOUNTS?

We offer a 20% discount on all class passes and full price memberships for students. 

 

LOST YOUR STUFF?

It happens a lot, you're dazed and high on community energy and just roll out, forgetting your wallet, keys, shoes and yoga mat. No worries, we have a lost and found where we keep items for up to 3 weeks and then send clothing, mats, etc to a donation bin. 

 

WHAT IF I HAVE AN INJURY OR MEDICAL CONDITION?

Please inform the teacher of any injuries or medical conditions before the class starts. This is super important as it helps us know how to assist you, give you modifications and keep you safe. We, and our teachers, reserve the right to ask you not to participate in a class if we feel that it would be inappropriate because of an injury or medical condition. Please contact us if you have any concerns or questions!

 

DO YOU HAVE SHOWERS & CHANGING ROOMS?

We have two spacious washrooms that play double duty as changing rooms. We have a shower that is shared by the building that you are welcome to use.

 

DO I HAVE TO BOOK IN AHEAD OF TIME?

You can use MindBodyOnline, accessible from the website, to book spots in classes in advance, but it's not 100% necessary. You can just pop in. We haven't ever had to turn people away - we will always make space for you. For the first class, come 15 mins early so we can get all the necessary paper work done, and you have time to settle in before class. 

 

DO YOU OFFER PRIVATE SESSIONS?

Yes! We do offer 1-on-1 classes, prices start from $50 so please get in touch for more details.

 

DO YOU RENT OUT THE STUDIO?

Yes! Anytime there isn't regularly scheduled classes we can accommodate studio rentals for photoshoots, private classes etc. Prices cary depending on scale, time, and day, so shoot us an email and we can make arrangements. 

 

DO YOU OFFER CORPORATE CLASSES?

We have the vibes, and we will travel. If you want to bring the Distrikt to life at your office. Prices vary depending on where your office is, how many people in the class, and what time of day, so reach out and let's make it happen. 

 

I'VE BOOKED A CLASS / WORKSHOP AND NOW CAN'T GO!

Don’t worry, as long as you cancelled in accordance to our 3 hour cancellation policy, your class credit will be added back to your MindBody account for you to use at a later date. Please note, we do not offer refunds.
